The mobilization against China, which oppresses the Uyghur population, is increasing. A group of lawyers presented a dossier of evidence to prosecutors at the International Criminal Court asking a global court to investigate serious crimes China is perpetrating on the Uighur population.

The lawyers said – these evidence prove that a global court can investigate allegations that China has been involved in a serious crime of targeting the Uyghur population.

A group of international human rights lawyers has urged a court in The Hague to launch an investigation into atrocities against China’s Uyghur Muslims. China is not a member of this court. The lawyers have said in their statement that their dossier proves that Uighur Muslims were targeted in China. He was imprisoned by China and extradited from Tajikistan to China’s western Xinjiang province.

This group of lawyers argued that Chinese authorities intervened directly in Tajikistan. In such a situation, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has the right to hear these charges. The lawyers asked ICC prosecutors to investigate these serious allegations without delay. The lawyers said that their report was based on the statements and investigations of witnesses in various countries, including ICC member Tajikistan.

At the same time, it has been said in a research that due to the threat to national security, China is slowing down the massacre of the population of Uyghur Muslims. Adrian Janz of China Studies and Erin Rosenberg, a lawyer specializing in international criminal law, wrote that China is genocide of the Uyghur community by stopping the birth rate. The governments of at least five countries of the world also believe the same.
