Department of Telecom launches portal

To protect people from such fraud, Department of Telecommunications has launched the portal from tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in domain. Where you can check who else is using the mobile number in your name. Also, with its complaint on the website, you can also block it with the help of the portal. Let us tell you that only 9 SIM cards are issued on one ID.

Follow these steps
Step 1: First of all, you have to go to the portal of the Department of Telecommunications, tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in.
Step 2: Enter your mobile number here.
Step 3: After this, an OTP will come on the mobile for mobile number verification.
Step 4: After entering this OTP, your number will be verified.
Step 5: Now you will get a list of all those mobile numbers, which are running on your ID.Step 6: If there is a fake SIM in your name. So you can complain about these fake numbers too.
Step 7: After which you will investigate the complaint of fake number.
Step 8: If the number is found to be running on your ID, then it will be blocked

However, it is important to note that this portal of the Department of Telecommunication tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in has just been rolled out for a few selected circles in the country. Which will soon be rolled out in all circles of the country.
