To protect people from such fraud, Department of Telecommunications has launched the portal from tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in domain. Where you can check who else is using the mobile number in your name. Step 1: First of all, you have to go to the portal of the Department of Telecommunications, tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in.
Step 2: Enter your mobile number here.
Step 3: After this, an OTP will come on the mobile for mobile number verification.
Step 4: After entering this OTP, your number will be verified.
Step 5: Now you will get a list of all those mobile numbers, which are running on your ID.Step 6: If there is a fake SIM in your name. So you can complain about these fake numbers too.
Step 7: After which you will investigate the complaint of fake number.
Step 8: If the number is found to be running on your ID, then it will be blocked
