Yuva Manch has initiated a dialogue on employment and its relationship with political economy, aiming to move towards large-scale public discourse and peaceful democratic movement. We are pleased that not only students and youth but also socially concerned individuals have shared their thoughts on how to articulate employment issues and bring them to all sections of the public. So far, our issue has reached about thousands of the people, and its reach is expanding. Our plan is to continue this dialogue as we do not want only a small group to formulate and bring slogans and issues to the public. We aim to develop a new type of organizational culture where in all participants and concern ideas should be taken into considerations. The issue of employment is the question of life and death for youth and nation. The destruction of labour force is horrifying, this is unparallel in Indian history. No nation building is possible without using maximum labour force in it service. Gradually education and health is going beyond the reach of common man.
Based on the suggestions received from colleagues and friends so far, we are sending the following issues for you:
1. Impose proper wealth and inheritance tax on super-rich.
2. Guarantee education, health and employment.
3. Fill vacant posts in government departments immediately.
4. Guarantee a dignified life for every individual as enshrined in the constitution.
