Bodies are being taken out one by one from the Corona Isolation Ward of District Civil Hospital, Valsad. The bodies are scattered in the post mortem room. Actually, the death toll has increased rapidly here, so it is taking hours to make the death certificate required for the funeral. Foul smells have started coming from the dead bodies.
Superintendent of Civil Hospital Amit Shah said that 400 beds are available for the patients of covid here. He says that the patient are reaching here by worsening his condition. they are coming when they feels the very need for oxygen or a ventilator.
Workload has increased considerably due to sudden increase in the number of patients. Workers have been outsourced to bring the corpse from the covid ward to the post mortem room.
Outside the Valsad Civil Hospital, the family members of the dead have been waiting for hours waiting for the dead bodies. Some of them have not been able to see the dead body even after waiting for 36 hours. Due to the wavering attitude of the hospital, now their anger has started erupting.
