‘Kisan Samyukta Morcha’ (KSM) comprises 40 farmer’s trade unions out of which 32 are from Punjab. Hundreds of thousands of farmers under KSM have encircled Delhi since November 26 and in this Dharna the Sikh farmers through Gurudwara Langars etc have given crucial & maximum support and their such support will be needed in future also for this Dharna, once temporary support which people from Haryana & Western U.P are giving (after January 27 episode of emotional/weeping outburst of Mr Tikait) peters-out.
The farmers from rest of India who are naively thinking that KSM will get the legally enforceable MSP for all items for them (which will solve the problem of the suicide of farmers and their other problems), should understand that if Govt repeals these controversial 3 farm laws (in which Punjab is maximumly interested) then next day KSM will wind-up & go home (without getting such MSP), though now Modi-Govt has been emboldened and will not think of repealing these laws also, because yesterday US President Biden too has supported these farm-laws (without uttering a single word about such MSP).
