(i)- This letter of NCM talks about selling non-veg & alcohol hence the Government of Jharkhand can easily say that these are not sold at Sammed Shikharji hills. Even if these are sold at nearby places it can easily be stopped by the Government of Jharkhand but it will not solve the problem because this letter of NCM does not mention anything about taking these (non-veg & alcohol) and consuming these at Sammed Shikharji hills.
(ii)- This letter of NCM doesn’t say anything against the efforts of the government to convert the Sammed Shikharji area into a tourist destination (in such case it will be impossible to protect the religious sanctity of the place).
(iii)- Because Hinduism (due to hierarchical caste system) has failed to provide socio-economic progress to majority of Indians [as is evident also from un-addressed farmer’s protest (which was going on at Delhi border since November 2020) because two third of India is fully and partly depended on farm income and farmers were committing suicide in hundreds of thousands for decades due to non-remunerative prices of farm produce] the Hinduism knows that it is only Jainism (and not other two home grown religions namely Buddhism & Sikhism) which will ultimately attract majority of Indians under its fold. Hence Jains are committing a blunder by terming themselves as a minority. Some Jains want monetary benefit from the governments hence they are interested in branding Jains as a minority but these misguided Jains do not understand that it is harmful rather suicidal for Jains (because minority status will keep the Jains demoralized permanently). The Jains who were ruling more than half of India (even before and after Kharvela) are bound to become a majority religious community in India soon, due to its casteless human rights & democracy friendly religious preaching but these misguided Jains (under the pressure & misleading propaganda of Hinduism) are trying to make Jains as minority.
The Jains, while suggesting (that there should be security guards at these sacred places to enforce the code of conduct for religiosity) don’t understand that it presupposes clear title & possession of these places by Jains. When even Digambars & Shwetambars are fighting for these then who (Digambar or Shwetambar) will depute these security guards. Therefore the Jains in the interest of solving the problem of Sammed Shikharji (and their other problems) should do the following in view of given below:-
(1)- The Indian-Jains (through ‘Sammed Shikharji Samadhan Samiti’ or otherwise) should immediately file a writ petition in the SCI as mentioned at https://chauthiduniya.com/
(2)- The Jains do not understand that no institution of the Union of India (including NCM) can go against the interest of Hinduism (rather of Hindutva forces). If even the SCI could not protect the legitimate rights / interests of the Muslims in the case of Babri masjid then if Jains think that as long as Gujarati Modi & Amit Shah are there at the center (under whose government in Gujarat the Jains lost Girinarji) they will get justice from any institution of Union India then they are living in a fool’s paradise. To be fair to Hindutva forces the Muslims lost because out of un-Islamic cowardice they didn’t file a petition in SCI for restoration of status-quo-ante of Babri Masjid which was demolished in presence of the observer of the SCI. But Jains should not commit this mistake & cowardice and instead should fight their case doggedly in the SCI.
(3)- Praman Sagarji Maharaj ought to not only ensure said writ petition by Indian-Jains in the SCI (because this is the effective remedy) but also the launch of a NGO for health care the ‘Jain Swasthya Seva’ which will go a long way in spreading the ‘prabhavna’ of Jainism especially among the socially & economically humble Indians.
(4)- The Jains should launch this NGO by ensuring that it does not become a charitable institute (which is against the spirit of democracy) where some people have control over the institution. Rather it should be owned and managed by the people. This NGO (under ‘Registration of Society Act’ and to be run on no-profit no-loss basis) should have members from any Indian (who believes in the basic principle of Jainism though he may not be a practicing Jain) who will have a voting right commensurate with number of his / her share of (say) Rs 1,000 per share in this NGO. This NGO will provide health-care facilities to non-members too.
(5)- This NGO should first of all open at least 100 bed multi-speciality hospital in the Sammed Shikharji area which will be helpful for the local people (especially the tribes) which will create goodwill between local people & Jains. This NGO will benefit the local people not only by providing them a quality health-care facility but also in giving them an important education in the management of such important institution (and about democracy) by making them (whosoever is willing) the members of this NGO.
(6)- Obviously this NGO will spread all across India with the money provided by the members (Indian citizens living in India or in foreign countries) but in order to kick-start this NGO about 20,000 families of Jains in the USA (Indian or US citizens) can easily provide initial funds for the launch of this multi-speciality hospital at Sammed Shikharji.
It is hoped and requested that Praman Sagarji Maharaj ensures the filing of said writ petition in the Supreme Court of India by Indian-Jains and the launch of ‘Jain Swasthya Seva’ NGO for multi-speciality hospitals first at Sammed Shikharji, to be kick-started mainly by the Jains living in the USA.
